Forecast Deadlines

During the football season the forecast deadline is 12 noon on Saturday.

Postponed or Abandoned games

Any postponed or abandoned games will be deleted from your game sheet. If a game is rescheduled it will appear on the game sheet for the week it is rescheduled to. Your original forecast will not be carried forward.

Payment Terms and Conditions

Payment by Visa and MasterCard can be made through our secure server. Claims of misuse of credit cards must be made within 2 days of payment. After that date no refunds will be given.
Payment by cheque will be accepted for the Seasonal Game, Season Ticket or Football Crazy. You cannot pay by cheque for the weekly game. A cheque made payable to Footy4cast Ltd, along with a copy of your registration form must be mailed to Footy4cast. Membership will be confirmed by e-mail. Users will only become eligible to receive prize money once their cheque clears. Footy4cast is not responsible for issues arising from the postal service.
Footy4cast does not accept cash.

Membership numbers

Membership numbers will be provided at the time of payment. They will be added to your account on the footy4cast website and sent to you by e-mail.

Refunds

No refunds are available once you have submitted a game sheet, Footy4cast reserves the right to exercise the final decision.

Any disputes or queries you have will be dealt with quickly and efficiently. Please send an e-mail to Footy4cast. We will endeavour to resolve them within 14 days. No other correspondence will be entered into. Decisions made by Footy4cast are final.

Do's & Don'ts

Footy4cast will not tolerate any foul or inappropriate language within the make up of the user name. False names, details, entries, or aliases will be deem your membership void. Any dishonest activity will deem your membership void and you will forfeit any prize money.

Prizes

Over 200 cash prizes will be awarded throughout the football season. In the event of a tie, the prize in question shall be shared out between the tied winners.

Weekly prize – one cash prize for each of the 34 weeks of the Premiership season. Awarded to the member with the highest points score for that week.

Monthly prizes – 96 cash prizes in total. Cash prizes will be awarded to the 3 members with the highest points scored that month, for each of the 4 divisions. A total of 12 cash prizes each month for the 8 months of the season.

Seasonal prizes – 80 cash prizes in total. Cash prizes will be awarded to the 10 members in each division, with the highest cumulative total points scored during the two Footy4cast seasons (August – December, January – April).

Footy4cast will endeavour to contact all prize winners using their membership details for a period of 28 day. After 28 days, if no contact has been made the member forfeits their right to the cash prize.

Spot prizes – There will be regular non-cash prizes provided throughout the season to add fun and excitement to the game.

Submission of Game Sheets

1. All Game Sheets must be submitted before any of the football fixtures are played. Copy entries are kept with us and also separate solicitors each week for auditing purposes and gaming control rules.
2. No responsibility can be accepted for entries damaged in any form when submitted. Failure of an entry to be delivered by the date or time in the manner specified will make the entry invalid. No correspondence will be entered into for late entries.

Scoring

You can score points even if you do correctly forecast the result of the football fixture. There are eight ways to score plus 3 double and 1 triple points game each week.

For games marked in red you score double points.
For the game marked in blue you score triple points.

Points are scored each week based upon the following rules:

The 8 ways to score:

Points Scored
15	Correctly forecast that a team will score 5 goals or above
10	Correct score (except a score draw)
8	Score draw
5	Correct forecast the number of goals a team will score, (both home & away team)
4	nil nil draw
3	Correctly forecast a score draw, but forecast the wrong score
2	Correct nil score
1	win forecast but wrong score

Your scores will be calculated automatically.

All scores will be lost from competition if you re-join at any stage later.

Rules of Judgement

The game must be played in accordance with the directions published. Footy4cast reserve the right to cancel and remove anyone from the competition who is found to have contravened the rules, these included but are not limited to just the following:

1. Any inappropriate language in the user or team name.
2. Any entry of false details or aliases.
3. Using any means of dishonesty, prizes will be forfeited.

Should you have any disputes please e-mail disputes@footy4cast.co.uk We will endeavour to respond within 28 days with our findings and decision.

Please provide as much information as possible, including your name, address, membership number and contact details. No other correspondence will be entered into.

At present Persons under the age of 16 are not eligible to play.

These rules can be modified at any time without prior notice.
